Winnipeg, Canada, is still struggling to come to terms with the death of PegCity’s finest Musu Mansaray (pictured) which suddenly happened on December 18, 2019 in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

Ms. Mansaray was a very vibrant member of the Sierra Leone community in Winnipeg, Canada, until 2018 when she decided to relocate in Sierra Leone.

To many, Ms. Mansaray was a sister, aunty, friend and a mother.

All this while she was fine walking the streets of Freetown until the night of December 17th when she fell ill, and was rushed to the hospital unconscious and passed away the following day December 18th.

From Edmonton, Canada, the news of her death reaching the Daniel Oldfield Corner from Freetown, Sierra Leone, indicated that Ms. Mansaray's death was sudden as doctors at Connaught Hospital in Freetoown struggled to resuscitate her but to no avail.

In Winnipeg, Canada, Ms. Mansaray was a household name; And up to death she was a member of the Sierra Leone Nationals Association of Manitoba (SALNAM) where she had made so much contributions. Friends and family are not believed she has passed away.

In Edmonton, Canada, the entire Sierra Leonean community is still in shock about the sudden and early death of a young woman everyone calls "Aunty Musu".

Ms. Mansaray was a family/Community oriented person both in Winnipeg and Edmonton, Canada, where she had many friends and family members.

She was survived by five children and two grandchildren - all living in Canada.

May the soul of our late Ms. Mansaray rest in peace!

She'll be buried next weekend in her hometown of Kabala.
