Liberian Canadian Association of Manitoba Inauguration Ceremony - November 26th

The Liberian Canadian Association of Manitoba Inc.(LIBCAM), is having her inauguration ceremony on Saturday,November 26th at the hour of 4:00pm in the auditorium of the Knox United Church located on 400 Edmond Street in Winnipeg city.

Those to be sworn in are:
Mr     Bernard Bokun Kumeh -President (pictured left)
Mrs. Jangar Bohn -Vice President
Mrs. Vivian Wesee -Financial secretary
Mrs.  Regina Kollor- Treasurer

This inauguration ceremony will be the first ever in the history of the Liberian Community of Manitoba.

The ceremony will feature  an array of government officials from the province of Manitoba, including MLAs and Councillors.

Refreshments will follow immediately after the formal ceremony. There will be a lot of Liberian cuisines to select from.

As you may recall, elections of officers of the Liberian Community was held on the 24 the of September ,2016 at the Knox Church in Winnipeg city. An independent observer from Election Canada, a member of the general public, and members of the Ad hoc committee of the Liberian Community were all present during the conduct of the elections. The election was free and fair, and was conduction under elections guide lines as  stipulated in the Constitution of the  Liberian Canadian Association of Manitoba Inc. (LIBCAM). 

We are calling on all Liberians to come and join us as we celebrate this  milestone in the history of the community here in Manitoba. We look forward to the participation of our compatriots in making this program a great success.
