From Winnipeg, Canada - Bob Umar Breaks Silence

May 31st 2021 was my worst day ever. On this day, laying unconscious, 99% dead at the Choithrams Hospital in Freetown, Sierra Leone.

As some family members & friends took to their heels I had few Friends and Family members and a Winnipeg Community, like firefighters rushing into an a flamed building came to my rescue. The Doctors and expatriates implied to my fiancĂ© Marian V Tulsidas & bro Hon. Karamoh Kabba that I wasn't gonna make it, Marian, the head Firefighter and Chief coordinator, as she could later recount, went home in tears, knelt down by our bedside in a prayer of her life to personally ask her God to spear my life.

With renewed spirit, she reaffirmed her commitment with this slogan: "I DROVE BOB TO THIS HOSPITAL AND HE WALKED TO THE DOCs OFFICE AND TO HIS ISOLATION ROOM. HE WILL WALK OUT BY HIMSELF AND I'LL DRIVE HIM BACK HOME"

On that fateful day as I was sinking deeper and deeper yet quietly and peacefully into the unconscious state of darkness 2 things came to my mind: I thought of my little children in Canada. That i wasn`t going back to Canada to ever see them again. And I also thought of Marian; How tough my death and eventual burial will be on her. How devastating that will be on her. I knew I had to be survive. I have to live! I told myself.

I was brought back to reality or semi consciousness with Marian by my hospital bedside calling my name, BOB! BOB!, I heard her faintly calling. It sounded from a distant. She pleaded that I take blood infusion to spare my life and I accepted. she ordered the doctors to commence blood infusion. That order backed by the Lord's Grace changed everything and the Lord spared my life. Thank you Lord!

I've been in Winnipeg now for 5 Months recuperating from that terrible chronic disease as I am still undergoing treatment.

I simply want to extend my profound gratitude to my Winnipeg Family for all your support Financially, Spiritually, Morally or otherwise. I want to Thank my Friends out of Winnipeg Kamachie and my Saquee Town Boys. And I want to thank my Best friend and Better-half Marian for being there for me at such a crucial time when i so much, so much needed a human conforter. I owe you my life babe! Thanks to Chief Sam Sumanna for your support and the timely visit. Although i didn`t recognize you and the team.

Thanks to everyone I love you all. Thanks also to Ms. Nadia Yoko for hosting me for 2 quarantine weeks and Big Thanks to Mr Mohamed Mansaray for hosting me all these while. It pays to be nice! Story continues some other time.
