Abu Bakarr Kamara,
President of SALNAM,
Winnipeg, Canada.

An Invitation to a Prayer Service for the Late Madam Aminata Sillah (pictured).

The Winnipeg Central Park Women's Resource Centre wishes to invite all Sierra Leoneans to a prayer service to be held for honoring the first anniversary for the passing away of the late madam Aminata Sillah, a former member of our community. She died in London, England on October 10, 2016.

Date: Saturday, October 14, 2017
Venue: Knox United Church
Time: 4pm prompt.

She was employed by the Winnipeg Central Park Women’s Resource Centre as a multicultural sewing instructor in Winnipeg. While she was working at the Centre, she mentored and trained many young women within and out of our community, to help them acquire skills in sewing. She was recognized by RBC in 2013, for her valuable work as a volunteer.

She will always be remembered for her humility, affability, compassion and generosity, and as a woman who, in spite of age or class, gender, religious or tribal orientation, treated everyone with dignity and respect. We pray that her soul will continue to rest in peace, and we hope to see you all on the 14 of October 2017.
